After doing this decorating for many years, I love it when folks crack a smile while viewing. It started on the ground with a wrapped soccer ball as candy & plastic pipes (now 10 ft. long) etc. Well the enjoyment got serious when the town police would drive by and asked about the packages. “We look for them, you know.”
And 4 years ago, when I was going to end the decorating, a little 7 year old at the door on Halloween asked "If this was the house where Santa drops gifts?" I was sunk! Can’t stop now.
All the best,
Bill
BTW: My son fired me from my roof position. He has his teenagers helping him now. I'm now the ground foreman, like an ant or a beetle. So be it.

After living in Clifton until my 2 children were still young, I moved to Pompton Lakes, NJ until I was 45. Then our family moved to New York State where we built a log home and my husband Huber Janke (also from Clifton) opened his Welding Shop. Lived there until my husband died in 2005. My daughter & her family was transferred to Clayton, NY and I moved in with them. After a few years, I moved back down to Schenectady and lived near my son and his family. After 6 years, my daughter & her family was tranferred back down to Canastota, NY. I moved nearby in a retirement center, where I am living now. I am retired from St. Mary's Hospital where I worked as a receptionist.
So as you can see, I have moved several times, but I will always consider Clifton my home town. Many good memories and I will always consider myself a Jerseyite.

I started taking Square Dance Classes last fall. In May I was accepted as a member in the Middletown Ramblers. See attached photos. First, me getting diploma, second members of my class and instructor. This turned out to be a lot of fun. Almost all the dancers are seniors and everybody is pleasant. I did not find one person that I did not like. Loads and loads of fun.
And then, I for one get a kick out of getting dressed up like a cow poke. I even bought a pair of boots. I highly recommend it for everyone. Great for your heart and overall health.
Take care

I am hoping to see my classmates both from near and far. So thrilled to have the opportunity to meet again.
It has been ten years since I retired from teaching. I taught for two decades. Now I do several activities at the athletic center plus I have composed several poems. The photo of me is at my grandson Philip's wedding in Connecticut. I recited a poem for the newly weds that I composed. The grandparents were asked to choose a reading of their choice.
So I am having fun as you can tell by the day in Manhattan for Lunch and a matinee. Friends and I get together often. Use the pool in my complex during the summer when I come alive. Visited California twice and this month my daughter visited NJ for my birthday and to get together with relatives and friends. My three sons live in Bergen County so we get to see each other. My six grandchildren are now young adults. Where has the time gone?
I feel truly blessed that I can still walk in heels and have my health. Hope I can say hello so please take time to chat and have a great time.
Warm regards

From Al Yarrish,
Judi has been after me to contribute to your webpage and to be honest I have been too busy. I plan to attend this year's reunion but I wanted to update what has been happening to me. Health is great (except too many pounds), have two young daughters, one is 13, most of you met at the 50th when she was 3, we also have an adopted 8 year old, Marianne who has decided that I cannot get old. My wife Joanne is still busy running her Birthing Center and is now teaching Nursing at the local Junior college. My three sons, from my first m marriage allowed me six grandkids, I have decided that I should not retire and am now the property manager for a large retail and business complex. In July my brother-in-law and I opened a small take-out restaurant called "Brothers Bistro". So far it is doing well. I am looking forward to seeing all you in October.

Dear Judi,
You and I must have had the same thought waves this week. I was getting ready to write to you and your letter arrived!
I was hoping I'd be able to join your CHS 60th reunion October 2 but unfortunately I will not be able to be there. My husband George is quite unsteady so cannot be left on his own for an extended time. We are concerned about falls. Our son, Jeff, is with us but he will be in Washington, D.C.to produce and direct a play for all of September for rehearsals and then early October for the premier. I will need to be here with George.
Jeff was with George in early June so I was able to go up to New Jersey for my 70th reunion at Douglass College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick. I was asked to carry our 1946 "banner" as we processed into the chapel. Why me? Maybe because I had no cane or walker and so had two hands to carry it! After the program the college photographer took my picture and sent it to me. I'm sending you a copy since I can't be with you all in person.
I keep busy here with lots of books and DVDs from our excellent library. I'm in three bridge groups and best of all are the classes I take with the Christopher Wren Association volunteer presenters,
no homework or tests. Each class is once a week for three weeks. For this fall my history ones are the British monarchs, the Thirty Years War, and the trains of the Civil War.
Please tell Bob Hofmann how often I think of him when I look at his gift of his framed report card that I signed in 1952 which is in my study/library. I remember, too, his sweet "crushed" introduction!
Do remind those of you from School 5 (and you Judi) that we have a twin bedded guest room and would be happy to host any who would like a visit to Williamsburg. It's a great place. You have been my host and I would enjoy reciprocating.
My best to all of you reunioners,
Lois Jackson Fiske

This is Bill Leach wanting to say "hello", so, Hello! Good to see the 60th reunion is perking along, I missed the 50th, my dear wife had passed away not long before, which kind of took the heart out of any festivities, at least for a time. I have since remarried, ten years already, and life is good. I am a retired union steamfitter living in upstate N. Y. and am keeping myself busy with the sweetest little Papillon female dog and currently building a deck in my back yard. I actually live in Lee, N. Y. but our mailing address is Rome, N.Y. I am planning on attending the reunion @ the Brownstone, at least I will not be required to wear a tie, since it is only a luncheon! I am looking forward to the reunion and wish to take this opportunity to thank you and Judy for your hard work and dedication re: our class!!! My phone # is 315-941-2197, in case you wish to engage in an awkward conversation at some time, that is my cell phone, no land line! Ta ta for now.

Unfortunately I will not be attending the 60th reunion, but wish everyone who is there a wonderful time catching up. We also, don't care to drive at night so it was a terrific idea for the luncheon venue.
It's been almost 57 years and Steve Pristas (CHS 55 grad) and I are still happily married. We have three children (it sounds crazy, but they are all eligible for AARP!). The photo was taken at our grandson's wedding this past May. He is a Florida Fish and Wildlife Officer based in Fort Myers, Florida. We have 5 granddaughters, one a recent college graduate and the other four are attending college.
We live in Lake Worth, Florida, enjoying the good life. We both have our health, including all our teeth! We thank God for all He has given to us; we are truly blessed.

I’m semi-retired now that we sold our business. I’m a contractor working for one of the buyers. It’s several days a week during the off season (we’re tax accountants) and full time during the “season”. Just can’t give up the excitement!
Been living in San Jose since ’85 and fortunate enough to have a weekend place in Santa Cruz. We manage to get down there almost every weekend and most holidays. A fine way to get away from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley. It’s a great place to entertain family and visitors to sunny California. Can’t imagine why folks prefer Santa Cruz to San Jose. Just another mystery…
We do travel a fair amount but every time we get back home we wonder why we left. And that’s about it, sorry we won’t be at the reunion but we just couldn’t fit it in, maybe next time?

Hi: I am so looking forward to our 60th Reunion in October. It is always wonderful to see all who attend and remember the wonderful days we spent together at CHS.
I have just recently retired from working full time, but after the summer I hope to work part time in the Medical area which is my experience for the past fifteen years.
I am Certified as a SHIP Counselor for the State of New Jersey/ Morris & Essex County. It is a Volunteer position, helping to guide Seniors and Disabled new to Medicare to choose the right insurances.
The summer is always a fun time for me, spending time at our Lake with friends, going to summer concerts, just loving the outdoors in general, lots of walking etc.
I have seven wonderful Grandchildren, 2 Young Ladies age 17 & 23, and five Grandsons ages 18, 21, 23 and 25x2. I am fortunate that they like spending time with me, we go to movies and have dinner together.
Life for me is very simple but extremely happy, I have my health and a wonderful family and good friends.
I look forward to seeing you at the Reunion
Love.

To the class of 1956
Hi to all, especially School #6 guys and gals.
Our class committee is really excited about our upcoming 60th reunion. Wouldn't it be fun to go and tell stories about our high school days to people who actually care? We can even gossip if we can remember. Special friends bring special memories. We don't want to disappoint our committee who have spent time to make this memorable for all of us.
An up date of my life is simple. I love working in my yard and keeping company with my children and grandchildren. We just attended my youngest granddaughter's graduation from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with 6000 other students. It took them 40 minutes to march into the stadium.
We are now looking forward to attending my oldest granddaughter's first soccer game playing semi-pro women's soccer for Raleigh NC. There are 100 teams across the US, the largest league in the world. We love to travel.
Hope to see you all in October. I read once that the best antiques to collect are old friends.

Now that we are in our mid to late 70's many of us have experienced our share of medical problems and renovations, such as new hips, knees or pacemakers, etc. I too have had both of my knees replaced and back surgery but have continued to ski. As a member of High Life Ski Club in N.J. my husband, now deceased, and I travelled many times to Europe; Italy, Austria and Switzerland to ski but also did side trips to major cities. The sport provided me with the cultural incites and health benefits of exercising, fresh air and enjoying the beautiful Alps and Dolomites. Since my move to Reno, NV I have held a season pass at Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows in the Sierras. I don't ski what I use to or how I use to but I'm out there on those beautiful sunny days enjoying Tahoe's great scenery. Is there anyone else in our class sharing this experience?

Or maybe some of you still drive at night. If you do, WONDERFUL. The committee is excited about this milestone so please try to make it or send us some up-to-date info about WHAT'S HAPPENING. As we get older, we cherish our memories more and more. Love to all of you.

Grateful to be still sharing a great life and good health with my wife, Charlene: summers on the coast of Maine, winters on the west coast of Florida.

Hi!
Thank you for the invitation to our 60th! My wife does not like me to say this, but I think we fit the “old” people category! I have good memories of my only year at Clifton High School which was our graduating year, but my memories of you all are very limited! God has been good to us. We spent 27 years in Italy in Christian ministry, and now have been in Danville Pa for 21 years where I served as a pastor; now retired but still have some responsibilities in ministry. Two married children and seven grandchildren, five of whom are adopted! I am happy to communicate this to you all, but will probably not attend a reunion.

Hi All,
After graduating from FDU, I ventured out to Southern California, having been recruited for an engineering position with North American Aviation in the then burgeoning aerospace industry. Following company mergers over the years, North American became part of The Boeing Company, from which I retired in 1995. I maintained a part-time consulting relationship with them until 2005.
My wife, Doris Weinpel Schofield, also a Clifton resident, graduated from Pope Pius HS in '58 and MSU in '62. We will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in 2012. We have two daughters and five grandchildren, who live close enough for us to see often. We enjoy traveling and are privileged to be able to continue to do so. I also took up golf after retirement and get a round in about once a week.
We still reside in Southern California, in the city of Fullerton, which is located about 10 miles North of Disneyland.
Wishing you all well and I look forward to attending the next reunion.
Fred Schofield

Judi, Judi, Judi (Didn’t Cary Grant say that?)
Dear Judi:
It really bothers me that I have to tell you I’ll be unable to join you and The Class this time around.
Especially since I wonder how many more “times around” I’ve got left. I haven’t missed one of your gang’s productions in many years, but due to conflicting dates of the Reunion and a vacation week with the same people for several years, well, we’re going to Murrell’s Inlet, SC (Myrtle Beach area) When I found the dates to be the same my heart dropped; I really enjoy the party very much. But most of all, I’ll miss “my kind of people”; the Class of ’56 and you.
Hey! Maybe we can meet on 12th Ave by the ferry as we did 2 yrs ago! I’ll never forget standing there, minding my business, waiting for my wife, when I saw a woman nearby. And she looked right at me and said, loudly, “Hey You! Where you from?” I said, “Jersey.” Then, , she said, “me too: I wondered iif she was some kind of cop; she talked like one, but didn’t look like one. Next Question, “Where in Jersey.” I’ll stump her. I said proudly, “Clifton!” She looked, and asked the ultimate question; “What’s your name?” I don’t know why, but I told her proudly; Supko!” And there on 12 Ave, NYC she blurts out, “AHA! I knew it! Clifton High School, class of ’56.” We shared a hug, and, of course, the SHE of this go-round was you, Judi. Remember that cold November morning?
And I’ll miss a guy I call a friend; Bob Hofmann and his lovely wife, Dee, All of them; John Kovalchick, Frank Racz and Al Mardarossian – all of them.
Well God willing and the creek don’t rise, I’ll be there next time. Actually, ANYTIME at the “old Mario’s. call me, I’ll be there. I love you all
Bill Supko

Bob,
My hair is now completely white and I've gained a pound each year since our HS graduation. I met Joe Faillace in 1958 at Stevens Inst in Hoboken. We were married in 1960 after I got my degree from the College of St Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. We spent 10 years in Parsippany, NJ. Our three kids were born there. We moved to Maryland in 1970 and were there for 25 years until we moved to Texas in 1995. In Maryland I worked for T Rowe Price, the Mutual Fund Company, as a retirement plans specialist. We both retired in 1989. When we moved to Texas our insurance didn't follow us so I got a job as a reservation agent with Continental Airlines. I was able to work part time and get medical benefits and flight benefits. We took many great vacations. We even flew first class to Japan! On 9/11/ 2001 the phones stopped ringing. Continental had to lay off 4000 employees. I took a voluntary leave with medical and flight benefits which was offered until 2004.. We moved to Texas because two of our children and grandchildren are here. Our oldest son, Nick, still lives in Baltimore where he is a senior engineer. He's been engaged for awhile and may even get married next year. He just turned 50 so there's no rush. Mary Jo has her CPA and works for a venture capital company in Houston. She has three children. The oldest two are in College. John, our youngest, is a hand surgeon in Waco, TX. He has two children, one in college and one in high school. We volunteered at the local hospital for 8 years when we moved here. Now we are members of the League City Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. We took a 15 week course in criminal justice offered by the PD. The group acts like an axillary. We live about 4 miles from the Johnson Space Center. The area is very nice. The only thing I don't like is the long hot, humid summers. This summer was the hottest on record. We haven't had a good rain since January. Acres of brush are now burning across the state. If it were possible I would love to move to Hawaii. Maybe someday. Since our last reunion I've been exchanging e-mail with David Doorn.
In 2007 I did a mini triathlon. I swam 7 laps, road my bike 9 miles, and walked two miles. I was the last one out of the pool, last rider on the bikes and last walker. I still got a Gold Medal. I was the only person in my age group!
Thanks for all your work on this reunion. .
Send me some rain!
Be well and happy

Hi Bob,
Judi has been after me to send a picture of my girls. So here is one of the latest ones from SeaWorld. I am sorry that we won't be able to attend this years function. One of my older boys is having a birthday and another one is visiting from Texas that weekend. I am sure you all will have a great time. Would have enjoyed Rutts Hut again. We have had an addition to our family since the 50th. Two years ago we adopted Marianne (at birth) She is my right hand person, actually I need several more hands to keep up with her. Claire who is now 8 and in the third grade was with Joanne and I for the last reunion. Some people think I am crazy to have these young kids at my age but I wouldn't trade them for anything. Well guys have fun I will be thinking of you.
Al Yarrish
PS That Dude in the middle is not related to us, but the girls thought he was cute so I included him

I am a national officer in the Marine Corps League. Our national convention was in Boise Idaho this year I traveled from Myrtle Beach SC to Memphis Tennessee, Oklahoma City, Albuquerque, NM, Rawlins Wyoming, Ogden, Utah to Boise returning to Williams, Utah, Lake Havasu AZ, Flagstaff MAZ, Amarillo TX, back to Memphis and home. On the return I stopped in Manuelito NM and saw a great show on the Second World War code talkers. I met with six of the code talkers about four years ago and now they have all passed. I keep busy with support for the wounded warriors in Camp Lejeune, NC. Our program for the holidays is called Operation Rudolph and I have been involved with the Toys for Tots program for the last thirteen years. After the reunion I will be going to Quantico Marine Base for the modern day expo and the process starts again as I prepare to leave for Camp Pendleton California, January 2012. I look forward to seeing classmates from 1956. I attached a recent picture, hope it looks good.

Hello 1956 Classmates,
I'm really sorry that I cannot make it to this year's reunion. My husband has been suffering with a bad knee that needs replacing for over a year now and they didn't want to operate with general anesthesia due to his heart condition. Just recently we got the OK to operated with a spinal which he had for both of his hip replacements. He's presently scheduled for surgery on Oct. 21st but we're hoping that they will get a cancellation that will put him at the top of the list. In the meantime he cannot walk any distance and needs assistance even though he has a walker. We might have to rent a wheelchair in the meantime.
I'm so, so sorry not to be able to attend this year's reunion to see all of my old, and I do mean OLD classmates. Have a great time reminissing about the good old times, they were the best.I will miss the great time you have planned and all of my old friends. We will be with you in spirit, I hope everything goes well for you all. God willing, we'll be able to attend the next one

I will not be able to attend the 55th Class Reunion of '56. The 50th was great and it was fun to touch base with so many people from my past - yea School # 6 !!!!
I moved to Falls Church, VA two years ago, after Stan, my husband of 48 years, passed away. We had lived in the Baltimore area for 42 years. Since our children live in the northern Virginia area, I sold my home in MD and moved here to be closer to them. I've got to say the traffic in the D.C.- northern VA area is a lot more congested than tiny Eldersburg, MD, but it's exciting and diverse here, plus as I mentioned I live so much closer to my children ( they're in their 40's and not exactly children !!!!) I still spend the winter months in Boynton Beach, FL. which is a nice break from the cold weather.
To those of you who go to the reunion - enjoy.

I am sorry that I will not be able to attend this year's class reunion. We hoped that if we kept waiting, we might be able to make it but no luck. Due to some health issues with my husband, I find that we cannot attend the class reunion this year. Wow, I am unhappy about this turn of events but I guess at our age this can be expected. Keep me on the active list though and "hello" to everyone from the class of 1956.

Since graduation in 1956, I went to work as an ex-secretary for 4 years. I met my husband Anthony Maggaro & we were married in 1960. We moved to Lake Tahoe where my daughter, Julianne was born. We lived at Lake Tahoe for five years & then moved back to New Jersey to be near family. We lived in New Jersey for the next 18 years, where we raised our daughter. My husband & I moved to Florida in 1983. After 36 years of marriage, my husband passed away in 1997. After his passing I went back to work with the Florida Legislature as an Aide to State Representative Kim Berfield, where I worked until 2007.

After graduation I entered Passaic General Hospital School of Nursing graduating as a Registered Nurse. I married a CHS 1953 graduate William "Bill" Wiedmann in 1960. We haw been married 52 years. We have a son 50, a daughter 48 and 2 granddaughters. Lauren is 20 and a junior at the Uniwrsity of NC, Wilmington and Ashley is a freshman at the Uniwrsity of NC, Chapel Hill. Since they live so close we have been able to attend all their activities thru the years and have taken them on a vacation without their parents every year since age 3. We just got back from Belize in June with the girls. Bill and I are world travelers and have had wonderful experiences such as dog sledding in Greenland, snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, tubing thru a glow worm cave in New Zealand, zip lining in Costa Rica and watching the bears in Katmai National Park catching salmon at the famous Brooks Falls in Alaska. We have also visited 54 National Parks in the US. I went back to nursing when our son and daughter were in HS working as head nurse and office manager for an OB/GYN practice in Raleigh retiring in 2008 after 30 years.
Have a wonderful 55th reunion. I will not be able to attend due to eye surgery 3 days before the reunion.
If you are planning to head south stop for a visit. My e-mail is [email protected].

Bob,
This is a photo of my husband Carl and me at a VMI dinner last year.
Right after high school graduation I went to work at NJ Bell in Passaic. I married Don Seymour in 1962. In 1965, I gave birth to Donald, in 1966, Jim, and in 1967, Brian. After a brief time-out, we had Beth in 1971. In 1975 we moved to Lincroft, NJ. The kids went to Lincroft Elementary and my daughter, Beth, had Mrs. Hofmann (Bob’s wife) as her fourth grade teacher. It’s a small world!
My husband Don passed away in 1992. In 1997 mutual friends introduced Carl, who was also widowed, and me. We were married on June of 1999 and now have nine children and fifteen grandchildren between us. We are both retired and have been snowbirds for the past eight years. Life is good! See you at the reunion. It will be my first.

Hi Judi
Thanks for letting me know about the website, it really is excellent. Although, again very sad to see all those folks who have passed away since our 50th reunion, several of the guys who were at our table in the 50th have passed away, really tough. The picture of the 5th reunion was really great, at least there I could still recognize everyone. Anyway, good job, looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hi Classmates of '56
I have so enjoyed just being a part of our reunion committee for the past 30 years, we laugh a lot and reminece about the old days. I am still working, in the orthopedic medical field, I was laid off two years ago and tried the "go back to college", did so for a year and then was lucky enough to gain employement in the same field.
I have a daughter Lisa, and two sons Jeff & Cory. I am the proud "Grandy" of 7 grandchildren. Three are attending college, one in the "new green environment", one in criminal justice... my granddaughter occupational therapy and plays college soccer. Two more are now applying to college, also good atheletes one for Physical Therapy and Lacrosse, the other for "I don't know yet" but wrestling or football. Two more are just beginning high school and one still in grammar school. Max is a "tech" so will be attending a high school academy which specializes in that, also plays soccer and Olivia is our Drama Queen...artistic etc, but also plays soccer. So that is how I stay happy, running to games all year round both in state and out of state. We are a very athletic family, except I have definitely reached the "mostly watch " stage...haha.
I hope to see as many classmates as possible at our reunion....it is a joyful celebration ....that celebrates we are still here...
Well, I am hoping to see Terry Gloede, Rose & Walter Buchner and Joyce & Ralph Cifaldi...We all have so much fun meeting at the shore . They are there. I just go to visit for a day or so. Hopefully Peenie Martino will also be there.
Well I am off to my little "slice of heaven" our community lake.
Love to all,
Patty (Altieri) Stuppiello

Hi Bob:
I am spending the summer in the San Francisco area with my daughter and her family. While I am not completely certain, I may be home in time for the reunion celebration.
I recently retired from the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
I am attaching a photo from my retirement celebration dinner with my family! I enjoy spending time with my three children and four grandchildren!
I wish all of my friends from Clifton High and School No. 13 a relaxing summer!

Roe and Nina
Hello Judi,
I was so looking to the 55th gathering until yesterday when my daughter suggested we go to London together from the 30th Sept through the 9th Oct. I know the reunion is the weekend before our departure, however that would be spreading myself "thin".
Even though I moved to San Francisco the summer after my junior year at CHS. .I have many, many fine memories of those years in NJ. . .I'm still in touch with Nina Netto Neglia and Phyllis Russo Truppelli and have seen them several times since I'm in NYC often where my daughter has lived for many years. We reminisce with delight. . .good fun.
Hello to all the "kids" from School #7 and Clifton High. It would have been fun to chat with a couple of old boyfriends, too! ! ! ! :) You and your committee have been keeping the group together brilliantly. Best regards from your old (former, ha) classmate,

Best regards from your old (former, ha) classmate,
Roe Maccan Griffith

Hey classmates,
I doubt we'll make it to NJ for the reunion. We are in South Florida (Lake Worth) to be exact. Can we really be out of HS 55 years? Unbelievable! I married Steve Pristas, class of 55, and we have 3 kids and 6 grandkids, all living in South Florida.... we moved here in 1975 so they all grew up here and have not left.
My e-mail address is [email protected]. Have a blast at the reunion.... I hope you have a good turnout, but so many are gone and so many of us are far away.

Bob,
I will not be attending the reunion as I expect to be in Cincinnati for my nephew's wedding. I have attached a recent photo taken in Amsterdam last summer.

Hi Bob,
First, let me thank you for creating the CHS Reunion Website, you did a super job, very professional. I've enjoyed perusing the site, except, that is, for the deceased classmate list. It's much too long, but, I guess, it's to be expected at our ages. Still, it looks to represent over 25% of our class. Sad.
As for our 55th, once again, I'll be unable to attend. I hope you all have a great time. I'm sure you will. In lieu of my attendance, and for those who might remember me from school, I’ll offer a short bio of my life over the past 55 years.
I married a Clifton girl (Jean Surgent, class of ’57) in 1962 and we moved to Wayne in ’65. We had two daughters and lived there for 36 years. We are now enjoying five (5) grandkids. I retired 10 years ago after working for nearly 40 years in the claims end of the insurance business. It was a good career and one that I mostly enjoyed but, then, given a choice, I’d opt for retirement. We moved to South Carolina in 2001 and have been enjoying life at the beach since then.
I keep busy now playing golf (practically a prerequisite for living in the Myrtle Beach area), riding my motorcycle and flying airplanes. We’ve been very fortunate and have had a good life. It is my sincere wish that the same could be said for all in the Class of 1956.
I see that we now have at least two CHS alumni (Alice Sherengos and myself) in the Myrtle Beach area. Perhaps, if we could get a few more classmates to retire and/or vacation here, we could have a mini re-union right here on the Grand Strand.
Thanks again and my best wishes to all,
Jim Pivirotto

Went to work right after high school. Accounting was my goal. Married Ronald Debiak (also graduate of Clifton H.S.-1952) Have twin boys (now 47) and daughter (now 44). Three grandsons, ages 14, 11 and 9.
After my children were all in first grade, I began working in accounting part time. Few years later, I began working in government as a Municipal Clerk/Administrator for the municipality of North Haledon. After Ron passed away in 1985, Bill Henry came into my life and we have been together for 20 years. I received the award as Municipal Clerk of the Year from the State of NJ Municipal Clerks’ Association. Retired in the year 2000 after 29 years of service. We moved to Florida in 2007.

Hi,
Received your info on the class reunion. Sounds like fun and wish I could be there. I have no family up in that area anymore, and its a long trip up from SC.
Have fun, and if any of my classmates get to Myrtle Beach call me - always fun to keep in touch..

Hi,
Thank you for sending me the info about the reunion but I'm unable to go anyplace but the doctors and the hospital, so I'm sorry but I won't be joining you. But I hope you all have a good time. It sounds like you picked out a good spot. Wishing eveyone the best.

This photo of my wife, Charlene and I was taken at our home in Maine just prior to the 50th reunion that we both attended. Today, we may look a touch older but, thanks to our active life style, not by much. Unfortunately, we are not able to attend the 55th but, with the constant encouragement we receive from Al and Judy, hope to make the next one.

Here is the wisdom I have had the good fortune to learn in life - as a R&R, R&B, Raggae & jazz roadie, and corporate pilot for decades: If it ain't fun, it ain't worth doing...but if you must do it, find a way to make it fun. The shortest distance between 2 points, is the elimination of one of the 2 points. A smile is the shortest distance between 2 people. The best things in life ain't things. Just say,..."Maybe." Everything changes, nothing changes. We can have everything, if only we would want nothing. You're you...nobody else can make that claim. Life is too important to be taken seriously, so If it feels good, do it. Don't get angry if my Karma runs over your Dogma. Of all the things I've lost in my life...I miss my mind the most. Yep, we're lost, but we're making great time.

You should be receiving my response sheet in about a week or two. Don't know what I am looking forward to better - Reunion or Rutt's Hut. What a great idea!!!
Warm regards,
